Workshops can accommodate up to 30 students, and include all materials.

Paper Mouth Puppets
45-60 Minutes | Ages 4+
Students learn how to create an amazing puppet with a moving mouth, starting with a single sheet of paper!
Simple to create, but open to any level of creative expression. We’ve offered this workshop at every age level from kindergarten through college.
Shadow Puppets
45-60 Minutes | Ages 5+
Unlock the magic of light and shadow! Students explore the world of shadow puppetry and learn how to design and build their own dynamic shadow puppet characters. Then they’ll practice their shadow performance skills to make their characters come to life.
Toy Theater
45-60 Minutes | Ages 5+
Inspired by the 18th century British tradition of flat paper puppets, this workshop is a great way for students of all ages to quickly create exciting stories.
Paper Marionettes
45-60 Minutes | Ages 7+
For students ready for something a little more advanced. Learn how strings can bring puppets to life. Each student will learn the core principles of string puppet construction and performance, and use them to create an original character.

Festival Workshops
Have a longer event?
We’ll set up enough supplies for everyone. Participants can drop by and create their own puppets any time during your event. Book anywhere from one hour to a full day.
School Residencies
Do you want to offer your students a little more than a single workshop?
Our school residencies give them a much richer experience. Students can explore more puppetry styles, add performance and writing skills, or even create their own puppet film from scratch. We love to create programs that incorporate the rest of your curriculum, and deepen their engagement.
